VHYes Camcorder Rental Agreement

By renting a VHYes camcorder kit, you (“the Client”) agree to the following terms:

1. The Basics

You’re receiving two camcorders designed to capture your event from your guests’ perspective — messy, fun, spontaneous, and real.

This isn’t about polished production quality. That’s part of the charm.

2. What’s Included

Each rental kit includes:

• 2 × VHYes camcorders
• 4 × batteries
• 1 × on-camera light
• Charging equipment
• Return packaging

Everything arrives ready to use — no tapes, setup, or extra equipment required.

3. Delivery & Return

Your kit will arrive before your event, fully prepared and ready to film.

After the event, you agree to:

• Use the provided packaging for returns
• Ship or hand-deliver the kit back within 4 days of the event unless an extension has been agreed in advance
• Return all included items listed above
• Cover any additional shipping costs caused by late returns without prior approval

4. Using the Camcorders

The equipment is designed for simple, guest-led filming — no technical experience needed.

Please:

• Keep equipment away from water, heavy rain, or unsafe environments
• Avoid opening, modifying, or attempting repairs
• Handle the gear responsibly and with reasonable care

5. Responsibility

From the moment the kit is delivered until it is safely returned, all equipment remains your responsibility.

This includes:

• Loss or theft
• Damage beyond normal wear and tear
• Missing equipment or accessories, including camcorders, batteries, lights, chargers, or packaging

If items are returned damaged, incomplete, or unusable, VHYes reserves the right to invoice for repair or replacement at fair market value.

6. Footage

• All footage captured during the rental belongs to you
• VHYes does not guarantee specific moments will be recorded
• VHYes is not responsible for lost, corrupted, damaged, or unusable footage
• Unless requested otherwise, you grant VHYes permission to use selected clips for promotional purposes

7. Tech Reality Check

We provide fully working equipment and clear instructions, but we cannot control how the cameras are used during your event.

VHYes is not liable for:

• User error
• Important moments not being filmed
• Batteries not being charged or replaced during use

Tip: assigning one reliable guest as the unofficial “camera champion” usually helps.

8. Editing (Included)

Every VHYes rental includes editing services.

You will receive:

• A 5–8 minute highlight film
• All usable raw footage

Final edited films are delivered within 21 days of the equipment being returned.

Please note: the quality and style of the final edit depends entirely on the footage captured during the event.

9. Cancellation

• Cancellations made more than 30 days before the event qualify for a full refund
• Cancellations made within 30 days are non-refundable unless rescheduling is possible and availability allows

10. Limitation of Liability

VHYes is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of the equipment.

11. Acceptance of Terms

By accepting and using the VHYes camcorder kit, you acknowledge and agree to all terms outlined above.
